Answer: The EU relocation program is designed to transfer asylum seekers who are in clear need of international protection from Italy and Greece to another European state.
Several eligibility conditions apply.
For instance, relocation from Greece is possible only for people who entered Greece after 16 September 2015 and no later than the 19th of March 2016.
Moreover, Iraqi nationals are not anymore eligible to apply.
Currently, only nationals or stateless persons previously residing in Antigua and Barbuda, Bahrain, British overseas possessions and territories, Eritrea, Grenada, Guatemala, Syria and Yemen are eligible for relocation.
