From The Independent: Human Rights Watch (HRW) and other humanitarian organisations have received countless reports of the abuse of asylum seekers by Hungarian border guards.
One Pakistani refugee said, “When they beat us, they were laughing with each other. The policemen, when they beat us, they are taking selfies with us.”
Other witnesses say they were forced to crawl back into Serbia through a hole in the fence after having their coats and shoes taken away in freezing weather.
Lydia Gall, an HRW researcher for the Balkans and Eastern Europe, said the organisation has received many reports of police taking selfies with abused migrants, along with taking videos with mobile phones.
